An engineering company for environmental technology, PUT GmbH was founded in 1994 by the two managing partners, Joachim R. Maxwitat and Dr.-Ing. Kurt Nonnenmacher. The objective was to deliver a range of engineering services, more specifically from detail engineering through to active commissioning, in the fields of power plant engineering, piping engineering, air pollution control, waste treatment plants, water and wastewater treatment plants and technical facilities.

Today, PUT is a modern, independent company of consulting engineers serving projects in all classical engineering fields, from concept development to construction management and plant commissioning.
