Hans Ginter I Exhibition from 07.11.08 until 30.10.09
Vita
Hans Ginter’s creative power has its very own rhythm and his concepts have nothing to do with artsy laissez-faire. The artist is addicted to the fascination of measured space. Following a strategy of “establishing order” in his pictures and sculptures, he attempts to break free from order’s constrictions from time to time. Delightful chaos is used, albeit seldom, as a counterpoint to stringent line management. Ginter’s production technique consists of single brush strokes instead of stencilled spraying.
His studies of graphic design in Switzerland fired Ginter’s imagination before he decided to follow his passion for constructivism as a principal occupation in the 1980’s. The artist’s idol, both teacher and employer, was the award-winning Anton Stankowski.
